Praises Be

Finally good news about Oliver. He is slowly, but surely getting better in each and every area of his body. His eyes are holding their own and not going crossed as much, mostly just when he is tired. We are figuring out his belly and what he can eat so he doesn't throw up. Today we went to the ear specialist and had his hearing checked. PERFECT hearing. Perfect. One tube has fallen out already, and that ear has healed completely. What a miracle. He has come so far. His speach is forming in leaps and bounds, he is not the same boy. We still have to be careful with his immune system being low, but with every day that passes, we need to worry less about that. For today I am rejoicing about his hearing. Hurray!

That is WONDERFUL news Lori. I'm feeling a little choked up about it. I'm sure it's a such a relief.

"K" you think you are choked up, you should have seen me in the doctor's office this afternoon when they told me that he could hear!

I can't even imagine. I hope the doctor was a "people person" and not one of those anti-social smartie pantses that seem to be doctors these days. Though it might be interesting to see how one of those types react to an emotional mother...

That is awesome news Lori!

It is so overwhelming when our kids are sick, even more so when it is a long term problem. I am sooo happy for you and him that things are getting better!
