Paying it forward (as from Alison)

Alison did a Pay it forward post over at her blog here.

So now I am supposed to continue it on a bit....
However. I am going to change it up a bit.
Sorry if this screws things up somewhat Alison:)

I am choosing the people instead of having them choose me
because some people are too shy or humble to speak up.
So at random I am choosing three people to do a little something for.

Once these people know who they are, they must continue on and pay it forward by Alison's way or my way. We just want to keep the goodness going:)

You can opt to send a little something in the mail, or do a chore for someone or whatever.
Love someone.

Interesting....

Found this randomly while searching for something.
In case you don't click on the link, it says that you can use half
the amount of laundry soap and your clothes will still get just as
clean. Do it.

Just make yourself at home

We went out last night to a lady's house to pick up a huge lot of furniture for our place (from freecycle) and took the kids with us...what an adventure!

As most of you know by now we have moved across the country with only what would fit in our minivan. We've been here for a month now and have been able to get quite a bit of furnishing already for our place-just enough for us, but if we have guests, then they have to sit/sleep on the floor.

So off we went on an adventure last night to Lynden (wherever that is) to pick up some stuff.
I prayed in my head that it was not garbage we were picking up as we were driving out there.

We got there and the lady welcomed us in. She walked us through the house and said "You can have this and this and this and this and this." The list went on forever! While we were looking at furniture with her and chatting, my son found a toilet.

"MOOOOOM!" he called from the bathroom.

He normally only calls me if he has a messy poo he needs wiped. Oh no! Why here? In someone else's house? Someone we don't know? Gosh!
Yup sure enough, poop. Messy.

I cleaned him up and the lady was kind enough to sit with the kids and give them cookies while Steve and I carried furniture outside to the van.

We were able to get everything we needed for our place. It was amazing.

So thankful.....
